Minerva Academy Football Club have collaborated with All India
Football Federation and Punjab Football Association to organize the most
cost-effective coaching D-license in India. The course spans a total of six
days and takes place at the Minerva Academy Football Club campus in Mohali.
With the ongoing pandemic, MAFC follows strict Covid-19 prevention
protocols. It is the first and only sports academy in India with a bio-secure
bubble.
Having made their name in next to no time, Minerva Academy are now
going a step further to create ripple of change in Indian football. Identifying
that the expense of becoming a coach has been steep for a long time, Mr. Ranjit
Bajaj, owner of Minerva Academy, has decided to bridge that gap for aspiring
coaches.
"There is no dirth of passion for football coaching in India.
The only thing that is keeping us from producing more coaches is the
affordability factor, and we want to change that. We want aspiring coaches to
take advantage of this opportunity and benefit from it," Ranjit Bajaj
said.
With this progressive mindset, it is no surprise that Bajaj also has
bigger plans for the future.
"This is only the first step. In the future, we intend to
organize the most affordable C,B, and A license courses as well," he
claimed. Three batches of the AIFF D-license course have already been completed
in December, and registrations have opened for the next batch which begins from
the 5th of January.
