CSK lost by 10 wickets against defending champion Mumbai Indians. After winning
the toss MI opted to bowl first and the decision taken by Kieron Pollard in the
absence of regular captain Rohit Sharma goes right. CSK lost 5 wickets in the
powerplay. 52-runs knock by Sam Curran helps CSK to avoid any unprecedented situations. After 20 overs CSK was 114/9.
Trent Boult took
4-wickets for MI. Jasprit Bumrah and Rahul Chahar took two wickets each.
MI chased the total
without losing any wicket and having more than seven over in hand. Ishan Kishan
played a good knock of 68-runs. Another opener Quinton de kock played an
unbeaten 46-runs knock.
